The Trek Fuel EXe 9.8 GX AXS takes an evolved approach to e-mountain biking with a revolutionary motor that packs space-age technology in a tiny but mighty package.
It’s built on a carbon fibre chassis that’s light, stiff and nimble for a lively and playful trail feel. The TQ HPR-50 drive unit and TQ 360Wh battery will help you get up to get to the best parts of the trails. And to keep a good thing going, it’s topped off with carbon wheels, the wireless shifting technology of a SRAM GX AXS transmission and the silky-smooth suspension of a RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork and SuperDeluxe Select+ rear suspension.
This bike is equipped with the Rockshox Lyrik D1 + Debonair + 160mm upgrade kit.
This ex-lease bike has only done 380km (26 charging cycles) and is in excellent condition. It has been fully serviced and comes with two brand new Bontrager tyres installed.

Some bikes will have full manufacturer’s warranty available; for other bikes the warranty term will be shorter between 3-12 months (e.g., ex-demo with higher kms and ex-lease ebikes); some ebikes will have 3 months parts warranty (refurbished), or 30 days parts warranty (consignment sales). What’s the condition of the bike?
Every Sparque Certified ebike comes fully serviced, safety‑checked, and ready to roll. Most include a fresh tune‑up, and many are still covered by manufacturer warranty. We’ll always make sure you know exactly what’s included before you ride away.
We don’t just give them a quick polish; we make sure each one is safe, reliable, and ready to ride.
Here’s how we describe their condition:
- Ex-Demo: a near new bike, low kms, little or no markings or scratches. Lived on our shop floor and may have ridden around the block a few times. Some have under 5km!
- Refurbished: can be ex-demos with more kms, ex-lease bikes (serviced by our workshop or our service partners), consignment ebike (we sometimes sell our customers ebikes if they meet our standards – these bikes are refurbished by our team).
Frame condition listing is based on the following:
- As New: Presents as new. No noticeable marks, minimal use and virtually indistinguishable from new.
- Very Good: Light cosmetic wear only: small scuffs or hairline scratches.
- Good: Apparent signs of regular use: visible scratches/paint chips, touchups.
- Fair: Visible cosmetic wear: larger chips, scuffs, minor dents or light surface rust, all reflected in the price. Fully serviced and safe to ride.
