    iIn my recent experience, bike mechanics who are personable and provide great customer service (rather than fuss over you until the moment the bike is sold or treat maintenance as an arcane art beyond your mortal ken) are rare. Leigh @ Sparque Perth is one of the exceptions. He seems to know everyone in the local industry, happily recommended help & options based on my needs. He acts patiently and thoughtfully and provided me with excellent advice and even created a bespoke part to make my bike work better. Can't recommend Sparque Perth highly enough.

    Excellent Service, clear explanation before you leave with your e-bike. The bike bags Thomas suggested are really good, they fit my sportsbag as well as my bag with laptop and lunch and jacket. If you need professional advice what kind of e-bike suits you go to Sparque, they have a great range. I thoroughly enjoy my Riese & Müller Nevo.

    I was most impressed with the service from Leigh at Sparque Perth. Three other stores had been unable to find the cause of what was thought to be a noisy electric motor but he quickly found what the problem was and fixed it at small cost. The bike runs like new and the replaced chain ring was the answer. This guy knows what he's doing and does it really well! No hesitation in recommending him. Thanks Leigh!

    Working for TAFE in Joondalup and being closer to home, I decided it was a good time to look at salary sacrificing an e-bike. I was guide by Paywise to contact Sparque for an opportunity to go and check out some bikes. Thomas was very helpful and knowledgeable in all the bikes on display and I got to test some out. Having found my best bike, the paperwork was set in motion. I picked my bike up two weeks ago and have started using it for rides to work. This motivated my son (10 years old) who's never ridden a bike before to try and ride his so he can cycle with me on occasions. My Nevo Rohler Riese and Muller bike is so amazing - I'm learning the different settings and speed - it's just delightful - it makes the journey so much more relaxing and being able to help contribute to the environment by not using my car.     I needed to purchase a new Enviolo hub for our cargo bike, and was recommended by Enviolo to contact Sparque. Thijs handled my inquiry, he was very efficient and knowledgeable about the Enviolo products and electric cargo bikes in general. Our hub was shipped within 24 hours from within Australia and arrived later that week. This business certainly understands the importance of customer care and is invested in keeping your cargo bike on the road 😀

    I am participating in an e-bike salary sacrifice leasing program though my employer utilising Sparque as the provider. Sparque has an extensive website with many of the program details and an extensive overview of available e-bicycles. The best feature is the excellent customer service provided by Sparque. The team are responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. With their guidance, I worked through many e-bike options and decided to proceed into a lease on a Riese & Müller Charger 4 GT Vario. The details were all facilitated by Sparque: the paperwork, the bicycle preparation and delivery to my local shop, the handover with my local shop and maintenance provider, and answering my follow-up questions. One month into my lease, I am loving the e-bike and am deeply appreciative of the ongoing support from Sparque to ensure that the lease is successful for all involved. For me, the Riese & Müller e-bike is perfect. I commute across a series of fire trails, shared use trails, and paved roads daily, with over 250m of steep ascent involved. The e-bike makes the commute possible for me while I still reap all of the exercise benefits of cycling. As a platform, the R&M is a heavy and secure platform, and the Bosch motor removes the weight as an issue. The carbon belt drive paired to the vario transmission is fantastic. The performance is outstanding, with instant, seamless response. There is no gear slippage or delay, or problems with up-/down-shifting on the run or at a stop. The user interface with the LED controller and the Kiox300 is easy with lots of useful information provided. The battery capacity is large and enables me to ride several days between re-charges. The bike looks fantastic – solid, clean, nothing extraneous, and I have received positive comments – and is free from the rattling and clanking one gets used to from a chain and sprocket drive system. I can’t mention a fault yet! This is one of those “I should have done this sooner” type of experiences.

    We recently purchase an ex demo Riese and Muller Nevo from Sparque in Perth. Thijs was excellent and very knowledgeable. The bike was serviced prior to delivery and Leigh was very helpful. Not the biggest store in size but definitely the best store when it comes to quality; eye for detail and knowledge of the owner(s) and their staff.     The beauty of using Sparque is that you can hire an ebike for a week before considering buying. I hired two different bikes over two weeks and glad I did as the second bike was more suited to my needs. Friendly, knowledgeable and informative staff.     Was meandering through North Melbourne on my forever Cannondale T800 pushbike, one of last of the "Made in America". Small sign on a lampost on the corner of a bluestone back alley in North Melbourne. Naturally couldn't resistt a looksee. At times contemplating ebike for partner. High enthusiasm level. And bike culture. Even if I'm more pbike than ebike, and aspire to Ernie Old until my 70s. BTW the lane is named after a legendary AFL football family, who may have owned the warehouse at one point.

    Honestly, I don’t think it’s possible to get a team as friendly and helpful as Thomas and staff at Sparque West Perth. I own a R&M eBike and have dealt with them since they first opened the shop.     We rented a cargo bike and an electric bike from Sparque that we used for our week in Melbourne. We have a 1.5 year old son and it was the perfect way to explore the city with him. He had a good view of everything and we were able to transport all our stuff (buggy, picnic stuff, groceries). Sparque is a friendly shop with knowledgeable staff. Thijs could tell us all about the cargo bikes. I would go here definitely again next time Melbourne. And if you have small children, the cargo bike really is your go-to.

    We are such fans of Sparque that over the last 18 months we have been dealing with them remotely in Melbourne, and are now really excited that they have a presence in Perth. I have been riding an e-bike for the last 6 years and researching along the way - both the technologies and the suppliers. Sparque don't just sell e-bikes, they are informed and passionate about them. They provide excellent advice and stock products they believe in and understand which means they can service your bike to maintain its performance and keep you on the road. I recently had my new Riese and Muller serviced by the Perth Sparque team and everything about the experience was professional. A quality (R&M) loan bike was set up for me to use for the duration. During the service they made a few adjustments that really helped with my riding set up. A great piece of advice that I found during my online research into purchasing a high end e-bike was from a Belgian cyclist who said the number one thing you do when you own an e-bike is have a good relationship with quality bike mechanic who has expertise and knowledge. And this is why I use Sparque. I think they are number one from the initial sales inquiry to the ongoing maintenance of your bike.
