The Riese & Müller Charger4 Mixte is the everyday E-Bike for long-lasting riding enjoyment. Thanks to its fully integrated 750 Wh battery, it comfortably takes you through everyday life and far beyond. Its slightly lowered top tube makes getting on and off easy. The suspension fork and suspension seatpost ensure a high level of riding comfort – making it just as comfortable and safe to ride on dirt tracks as on asphalt roads. Well-thought-out components, such as the versatile carrier and the bright light of the daytime running light, are ideal for daily commuting or an extended weekend trip in all weathers. The Charger4 GT vario is equipped with 27.5″ wheels, an air suspension fork, a Gates CDX belt drive and Enviolo 380 continuously-variable hub gears.

Is the ebike covered by a manufacturer’s warranty?
Warranties vary depending on the age and condition of the bike. Some bikes will have full manufacturer’s warranty available; for other bikes the warranty term will be shorter between 3-12 months (e.g., ex-demo with higher kms and ex-lease ebikes); some ebikes will have 3 months parts warranty (refurbished), or 30 days parts warranty (consignment sales). Always check the listing for exact details.

What’s the condition of the bike?
Every Sparque Certified ebike comes fully serviced, safety‑checked, and ready to roll. Most include a fresh tune‑up, and many are still covered by manufacturer warranty. We’ll always make sure you know exactly what’s included before you ride away.
We don’t just give them a quick polish; we make sure each one is safe, reliable, and ready to ride.
Here’s how we describe their condition:
- Ex-Demo: a near new bike, low kms, little or no markings or scratches. Lived on our shop floor and may have ridden around the block a few times. Some have under 5km!
- Refurbished: can be ex-demos with more kms, ex-lease bikes (serviced by our workshop or our service partners), consignment ebike (we sometimes sell our customers ebikes if they meet our standards – these bikes are refurbished by our team).
Frame condition listing is based on the following:
- As New: Presents as new. No noticeable marks, minimal use and virtually indistinguishable from new.
- Very Good: Light cosmetic wear only: small scuffs or hairline scratches.
- Good: Apparent signs of regular use: visible scratches/paint chips, touchups.
- Fair: Visible cosmetic wear: larger chips, scuffs, minor dents or light surface rust, all reflected in the price. Fully serviced and safe to ride.
The Charger series has been one of the best sellers in the Riese & Müller range since the first version was released in 2015. The Charger4 builds on that extensive legacy, adding support for the new Bosch Smartsystem (BES3) with 750Wh PowerTube in-frame battery, fully functional LED remote and the Kiox300 full-colour display for detailed information. The frame finish, build quality and paintwork is at the same high standard as expected from previous Charger models. The Charger4 strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style and handling, and the Charger4 Mixte adds to that the additional comfort of a lower stepover height. The aluminium frame combined with front and seatpost suspension to even out any bumps along the way, and the Bosch drive unit give you complete control while riding. The Charger4 features the Gen4 Bosch Performance CX drive unit as part of the Bosch Smartsystem. Practical details like reliable SKS mudguards, racks, and high-quality Supernova lights and lock are all included. Available with derailleur gears (touring and GT touring), Enviolo 380 continuously-variable hub gears with low-maintenance belt (vario, GT vario and GT automatic), and Rohloff Speedhub 14-speed internal gear hub (GT rohloff). Compared to the standard/non-GT model, the GT versions add wider tyres on 27.5″ rims, an SR Suntour Aion air suspension fork, a 4-piston front brake caliper and an upgraded Cane Creek Thudbuster suspension seatpost. Whether for the daily commute or sporty rides, the Charger4 boasts a sporty geometry, a dynamic chassis with suspension fork and comfort seatpost, and the latest generation Bosch ebike system, making it the ideal E-Bike for everyday life.
