The Homage4 is Riese & Müllers signature stepthrough bike with Control Technology. The Homage4 with Bosch Smartsystem features a combination of the Control Technology full-suspension frame and the carefully balanced geometry with a comfortable, yet sporty riding position make for an amazing ride regardless of the terrain. Unique to Riese & Müller is the belt drive on a full-suspension e-bike on the GT vario and the Enviolo continuously-variable hub gears (GT vario). Other standard features include the Supernova M99 high-low beam LED headlight and M99 LED taillight with brake light indicator. iIn my recent experience, bike mechanics who are personable and provide great customer service (rather than fuss over you until the moment the bike is sold or treat maintenance as an arcane art beyond your mortal ken) are rare. Leigh @ Sparque Perth is one of the exceptions. He seems to know everyone in the local industry, happily recommended help & options based on my needs. He acts patiently and thoughtfully and provided me with excellent advice and even created a bespoke part to make my bike work better. Can't recommend Sparque Perth highly enough.

I was most impressed with the service from Leigh at Sparque Perth. Three other stores had been unable to find the cause of what was thought to be a noisy electric motor but he quickly found what the problem was and fixed it at small cost. Working for TAFE in Joondalup and being closer to home, I decided it was a good time to look at salary sacrificing an e-bike. I was guide by Paywise to contact Sparque for an opportunity to go and check out some bikes. Thomas was very helpful and knowledgeable in all the bikes on display and I got to test some out. Having found my best bike, the paperwork was set in motion. I picked my bike up two weeks ago and have started using it for rides to work. This motivated my son (10 years old) who's never ridden a bike before to try and ride his so he can cycle with me on occasions. I am participating in an e-bike salary sacrifice leasing program though my employer utilising Sparque as the provider. Sparque has an extensive website with many of the program details and an extensive overview of available e-bicycles. The best feature is the excellent customer service provided by Sparque. The team are responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. With their guidance, I worked through many e-bike options and decided to proceed into a lease on a Riese & Müller Charger 4 GT Vario. The details were all facilitated by Sparque: the paperwork, the bicycle preparation and delivery to my local shop, the handover with my local shop and maintenance provider, and answering my follow-up questions. One month into my lease, I am loving the e-bike and am deeply appreciative of the ongoing support from Sparque to ensure that the lease is successful for all involved. For me, the Riese & Müller e-bike is perfect. I commute across a series of fire trails, shared use trails, and paved roads daily, with over 250m of steep ascent involved. The e-bike makes the commute possible for me while I still reap all of the exercise benefits of cycling. As a platform, the R&M is a heavy and secure platform, and the Bosch motor removes the weight as an issue. The carbon belt drive paired to the vario transmission is fantastic. The performance is outstanding, with instant, seamless response. There is no gear slippage or delay, or problems with up-/down-shifting on the run or at a stop. The user interface with the LED controller and the Kiox300 is easy with lots of useful information provided. The battery capacity is large and enables me to ride several days between re-charges. The bike looks fantastic – solid, clean, nothing extraneous, and I have received positive comments – and is free from the rattling and clanking one gets used to from a chain and sprocket drive system. I can’t mention a fault yet! This is one of those “I should have done this sooner” type of experiences.

We rented a cargo bike and an electric bike from Sparque that we used for our week in Melbourne. We have a 1.5 year old son and it was the perfect way to explore the city with him. He had a good view of everything and we were able to transport all our stuff (buggy, picnic stuff, groceries). Sparque is a friendly shop with knowledgeable staff. Thijs could tell us all about the cargo bikes. I would go here definitely again next time Melbourne. And if you have small children, the cargo bike really is your go-to.

We are such fans of Sparque that over the last 18 months we have been dealing with them remotely in Melbourne, and are now really excited that they have a presence in Perth. I have been riding an e-bike for the last 6 years and researching along the way - both the technologies and the suppliers. During the service they made a few adjustments that really helped with my riding set up. A great piece of advice that I found during my online research into purchasing a high end e-bike was from a Belgian cyclist who said the number one thing you do when you own an e-bike is have a good relationship with quality bike mechanic who has expertise and knowledge. And this is why I use Sparque. I think they are number one from the initial sales inquiry to the ongoing maintenance of your bike.
