I signed up to a subscription for the Wombat cargo bike. Best value subscription on the market, no extra charges for accessories, very professional service. The subscription fee included servicing, insurance, roadside assistance and all the accessories. The guys at Sparque are great. very helpful
Absolutely legendary service and attention to detail from Leigh at Sparque eBikes. To give a bit of a back story, I had my eBike for a service at another bike shop just in March this year. However, I noticed that my brakes were quickly fading and my eBike motor was not running smoothly. Long story short, my disc brakes were well worn (1.2mm instead of the minimal 1.5 mm), my motor needed a substantial repair, which Leigh managed superbly. To top it all off, my front fork was not working either and my old bike shop told me nothing can be done other than a new fork for $300-$400 + install. Leigh managed to service the whole fork and made it work like new for about a third of the cost of a new fork. Safe to say, I'll be back with my wife's and my bike for sure!

This was a convenient way transitioning from car commuting to e-biking. We were able to access a "car replacement" style bike without the big up-front expense of buying a bike. Our baby loves riding in the bike and it feels great to zoom past the morning traffic.

I wanted to try a family long tail bike, but buying before testing was a bit daunting, as it is quite an investment. With sparque, we were able to rent a bike for a couple of months. We really enjoyed the experience. It took a bit of time to get used to the bike, and we had a lovely experience with the team. We had a battery issue, and they replaced the battery right away so we can continue to enjoy our bike. Knowing that we had insurance included in your it subscription was a great plus. My kids loved riding on the bike, even when it was raining. I would recommend sparque subscription to anyone who wants to test and discover if a family bike is for them!

This e-bike shop is tucked away on Fitzgerald Street but is well worth a visit if you are looking for a quality bike and excellent service. Scott and Leigh were friendly and very knowledgeable about the bikes they stocked. The opportunity to try before you buy with a week renting was really helpful in making a final decision. We've had our 3 Tern e-bikes for a few years and purchased them elsewhere, but my husband has been in with multiple problems over the last few months and they have always been super helpful and polite. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they fix almost everything on the spot, heaps of knowledge and very fairly priced. If we were ever in the market for new bikes, we would be going here. Such a great team.
Hi I own one R&M Nevo and I brought my long suffering wife one in 2020. I get both of them serviced at Spaque. On the recent service Lars was able to rectify an issue my wife's bike which.past service centers had not fixed. Happy wife happy life. Thanks Lars

Extremely friendly and helpful, they’ve got me sorted with an R&M Load. They were extremely helpful at recommending bikes, explaining the differences between them and all the available accessories for my particular use case. They even let me test ride one of the employees bikes from the shop to home (and back again!) to make sure that I was comfortable riding it and that it would fit in my house. I was very satisfied with the range of bikes and excellent support and follow-up provided by my consultant at Sparque. Getting an e-bike has been a great decision. I really enjoy my cycling commutes to work and feel more energized at the start of the working day. The commute time is the same as or shorter than driving.

Yes, you can get cheaper e-cargo bikes from elsewhere, but I can't recommend a lease from Sparque enough for peace of mind and ease. The lease includes regular comprehensive servicing and the insurance as well as the excellent service from Thijs, Thomas and the team for any issues with the bike. I have ridden well more than 5,000km on my e-cargo bike and couldn't be happier.

These guys really truely go above and beyond for their customers. Purchased a new kalkhoff a month back. Didn’t ride it but when I did the front tyre had let go and was unusable. No questions asked they replaced it and also swapped us over to a different tyre that I prefer at no extra cost. Thank you team keep up the great work!

Leased a Moustache Lundi Cargo bike for 8 weeks to carry around 2 kids for drop offs and local adventures. Loved it. Sparque were super helpful in deciding which bike met our needs and I would have tried over 7 bikes one afternoon. There advice was practical and relevant to our circumstance. Jon was really patient and knowledgeable. I’d previously visited another place in Fitzroy to suss out e-bikes but the level of service and attitude was really underwhelming. I strongly recommend Sparque. My experience of the leasing process was that it was all pretty easy and no hidden charges. I was very pleased that the baby seat, cage, cargo basket were all Included in the bike at no additional charge. If you are in two minds about an ebike. Give it a crack for a few months with renting from Sparque and see how fun it can be.
Just wanted to check in regarding the new Ebike- Me and the little guy are loving it, it’s a great bit of kit and I’m glad we went for the hub/belt drive. After many years working on crusty old commuter drive trains, I’m super happy to have that level of simplicity and lack of greasy cassette and chain! The dad and son ebike commute is a fun way to start and end the day, can recommend!
